Loris First Baptist Church Ladies' Ministries
Woman’s Missionary Union (WMU) of Loris First Baptist Church
Tammy Holt, Co-Chairman Kay Vaught, Co-Chairman
WMU, a woman’s organization, is an extension of the Southern Baptist Convention. Its purposes are to educate the church on missions and to support missions at the local, state, and national levels. Prayer support and mission giving are highly encouraged and central to the group’s efforts. Giving to the Janie Chapman Offering for State Missions, the Lottie Moon Offering for International Missions, and the Annie Armstrong Offering for North American Missions provides opportunities to directly support mission efforts and missionary families.
Throughout the year, the WMU here at Loris First Baptist sponsors several worthwhile missions-related projects and encourages active participation.
