​(2 Timothy 1:7-8)

Four main reasons people do not witness:
1. Self-Centeredness
2. Selfishness
3. Satan
4. Self-Doubt

There are two kinds of fear:
1. Good Fear – keeps us from doing things we should Not do!
2. Harmful Fear (“spirit of fear”) – fear that paralyzes us and keeps
us from doing things we Could or Should do.

Our Resource Kit for Witnessing:

I. We have been given a new Spirit (John 3:3; 1 Pet 1:23; 2Cor 5:17)
A. Our Soul is an element that allows us to relate to Life.
B. Our Spirit is an element that allows us to relate to God.

II. We have been given Power. (Acts 1:8; Eph 3:20; Col 1:11)
A. The Power we have been given is the Gospel. (Rom 1:16-17)
B. The Power we have been given will Change Lives. (Rom 10:17)

III. We have been given Love:
A. It is not a Feeling! (Rom 12:2)
B. It is Sacrificial Action – Benefits mainly the one that is
loved! (John 3:16-18; 1John 3:16; 1John 4:10-11)

IV. We been given a Sound Mind:
A. The ability to control one’s Emotions, Feelings, and Thoughts.
B. The knowledge that it is possible to do what is impossible
because of God’s divine Power and Wisdom. (Philemon 6; Phil 4:13)
