Since the beginning of the Care Team and Outreach visitation nights, I have found that writing a simple message to someone in need can lighten their hearts, if even for a little while.
Knowing that I am reaching out through the mail to witness for our Lord brings a sense of peace to me. Some are called to visit, some to make calls, others to pray, and then those who write words of encouragement to those who are not only dealing with personal problems but to those who are having birthdates and to those who have had promotions and accomplishments in the workplace.
God only asks us to do what we can do and nothing else. Like the story of the fishes and the loaves, the little boy have what he had and the Lord blessed it and multiplied the food.
